The Croft is a wonderful holiday cottage in a secluded position situated between Lamlash and Whiting Bay on the Isle of Arran. This property has spectacular sea views of Lamlash Bay and Holy Isle. It has been renovated whilst restoring the original fireplace in the living room to provide cosy and comfortable living. The conservatory doubles up as a dining room and boasts fantastic sea views. There is a small sitting-out area at the front of the property with space for a barbecue (although this is not provided). The Croft, which is a short drive from the centre of Lamlash, is set in a secluded position, ideal for a peaceful and tranquil holiday on Arran.

we have just returned from a weeks holiday on Arran staying at The Croft. It was extremely well equipped with good quality furnishings and crockery etc. All very clean and tidy. The cottage has the most amazing views over Holy Isle and towards Lamlash. Great service from The Arran Team, who responded very quickly when the bath tap got stuck to sort out the problem. We loved the island and hope to be back next year.

We have just spent four nights at The Croft. A fabulous location with brilliant views. The cottage was lovely, very comfortable and homely and very well equipped. The car turning area can be a bit tight if you have a large car but nothing a 10 point turn can’t sort!! We will definitely be coming back.

Stayed at The Croft for a few days-amazing views as noted in previous posts but greatly enhanced by the glorious weather for the first few days . The cottage was well appointed ,bed was very comfortable and when the weather closed in the house was very cosy. The only negative I have is nothing to do with the cottage-it was great but we encountered quite a few places which were not pet friendly - surprising considering how many dogs were on the ferry on to Arran.

We have just spent three nights at The Croft. The views were amazing and the location is very secluded for a nice relaxing weekend. The cottage has everything you would need and our woofie had a lovely holiday there. Trying to get the car turned would have been a nightmare for me but my husband likes a challenge. Will definitely return.

Just returned from a great week in the croft – yes the parking is tight but its well worth the effort. well equipped with excellent quality fittings. Very quiet, superb views and well connected to the rest of the island. Excellent service from the Arran team. Thank-you

The Croft is a lovely place to stay, overlooking the bay and onto Holy Isle is perfect as a back drop when sitting in the conservatory with a drink. Well equipped and with all mod cons we had a great week walking and exploring the island. Even the weather was good! We would come back and stay again. Thanks Arran Team.

This little cottage is a really well appointed, clean and comfortable place to stay. Every need has been catered for and a lot of thought has obviously been put into the needs of the holiday maker. We spend a very enjoyable five days here, and despite one day of rain, we really enjoyed our stay on Arran.

I can only endorse the comments complimenting this property, we have had many self catering holidays in the British Isles and across Europe and The Croft is the best appointed it had everything we wanted, everything worked, good simple instructions. We have already recommended it to friends who are looking to escape from the hurly burly of life. To sit in the conservatory with that view is a joy, rain or shine.

We have just spent five nights at the Croft and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The house is really comfortable and well appointed with awesome views from the conservatory. Just wish we had been able to stay a little longer but I’m sure we will be back. I read on a review that parking was an issue however we found it to be ok, easy to park and turn around (Volvo S80). We also took our dogs and they also enjoyed it very much.
Plenty of great places to visit and to eat out at, the Coffee pot at Whiteing Bay and Made in Arran at Lamlash to name just a few. Lots of dog Friendly places on the island and that makes a nice change. All in all the croft was a great base to stay for a short visit but also would be perfect for a longer stay. No light pollution makes for some great night skies!

We enjoyed a weeks stay in The Croft on Arran. A lovely cute property which is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Superb location, with the conservatory offering spectacular views. A bonus that their is no wifi, extremely limited mobile reception and zero light pollution thus making for a truly quiet relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This wasnt our first stay in the Croft; and I can safely say we’ll be back. I would highly recommend this dog friendly accommodation which is clean, bright and warm! Many thanks
