Eilean View Hamilton Terrace is a beautifully renovated cottage located in the heart of Lamlash, with stunning views of Holy Isle and across Lamlash Bay, hence the name meaning ‘Island View’. It is one of the original fishermen’s cottages located in Hamilton Terrace, and it now provides all the comforts of a stylish holiday cottage. Guests can relax in the comfy sofas or sit by the large bay window and take in the view of Holy Isle. The family bedroom upstairs has a kingsize bed plus the original built in bed which is great for a child, and guests can wake up to stunning uninterrupted sea views.

The cottage is well-equipped and has a lovely homely feel to it. There is a small seating area to front of property and a shared lawned area adjacent. It is located in the centre of Lamlash yet is set back from the main thoroughfare and within walking distance of all the amenities, including shops, bars, restaurants, the beach, children’s play park and golf club. It is a great place for families to enjoy a self-catering holiday on Arran.

Lovely, well fitted out house in a beautiful setting next to some pubs and with a small Co-Op round the corner. Great base to explore Arran. Parking either just near the front door or in the car park directly in front of the garden. Large common ground, harbour, small beach and kids play parks all within 100m of the front door. Would recommend for small families. One thing to note for families with very small children is that the stairs are very steep. Also as stated the house has no internet, and there is zero phone signal (no bad thing if you’re looking to get away, but don’t rely on 3G or 4G if you require any signal for calls emails). The local pubs/hotels have free Wi-Fi if you’re that desperate.

Well kitted out house, nice bedrooms, large kitchen and added bonus of downstairs loo. Ideally situated in Lamlash close to shops, bars ect. Hotel next door has excellent menu, food great at the Lamlash Hotel. Would go back to this property again. Very nice.

The house was extremely comfortable and was well kitted out. Was more like a home from home rather than a holiday home. The view to Holy Isle was breathtaking – sunrises were amazing. Peace and tranquillity if that is what you are after yet ideally situated for exploring Arran. Spoiled for choice for eating out with first class food being served at the local hotels and restaurants. Would certainly return to Eilean View and recommend it to family and friends.
