Our group of eight stayed for four nights in October 2015. We wanted a base for golf, walking and a sociable get together. I must say that we found the croft to be ideal and enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to re-book for next year. Upon arrival we were alarmed by the lack of wood and coal but soon realised that the central heating was more than enough to keep the croft very warm and cosy. The croft is well equipped with everything a large group will need (although you do need to add a tea cosy). There are some great walks from the croft itself and, although we did not use it much, the hotel is less than 5 minutes walk away. We can strongly recommend this to any large group or family.

The house was perfect for our family gathering. It as very well equipped and warm- we enjoyed lighting the fires in the evenings! We saw lots of seals and one lucky morning two otters from our bedroom window, what could be better. We certainly hope to return, it was a major trek for us, all the way from Cambridge! Thank you.

The house was perfect for our weekend break. It is probably the best equipped rental we’ve had and the location was simply stunning. The BBQ was certainly put to good use and we were thankful for the plastic glasses to take outside - a really useful idea. I would thoroughly recommend Drimlabarra to anyone wanting a break on Arran.
